ALOE VERA: an effective component for removing acne scars and rejuvenation

blog-img

Aloe vera is a succulent plant that has been used for millennia to treat a variety of skin conditions, as well as in daily care. And for good reason, as this unique plant has a number of healing properties.

How does aloe vera work on the skin?

The leaves of the plant contain 96% water and valuable elements. The extract contains most of the necessary amino acids that contribute to the restoration of skin structure. In addition, aloe vera contains antioxidants (alanine, arginine, lysine, methionine, phenylalanine, threonine, tyrosine, and valine), proteins, saturated fatty acids, trace elements, bactericidal compounds, and vitamins A, E, C, B, folic acid, etc.

By adding aloe vera extract found in daily care products, you can gain a number of positive benefits, including:

  • Moisturizing - this is one of the key functions of the component. The active components of aloe vera can bind water molecules and prevent them from evaporating from the skin's surface.
  • Antiseptic and bactericidal action - fights bacterial and viral infections that provoke acne and inflammatory processes.
  • Wound healing - aloe vera has a remarkable ability to quickly heal wounds and inflammatory skin damage.
  • Soothing the skin, treating sunburns and frostbite - aloe vera alleviates symptoms of damage such as itching, burning, irritation, redness, and peeling.
  • Lightening - the component prevents excessive hyperpigmentation of the skin, lightens existing spots, and prevents the appearance of new ones.
  • Anti-aging properties - the plant combats premature skin aging, smoothing out texture and minimizing expression lines, restoring skin elasticity and firmness.
  • Reducing scars - aloe vera helps in collagen production and has the ability to prevent excessive melanin production, which prevents darkening of affected areas.

Aloe vera extract is a safe component and is suitable even for very sensitive skin. This ingredient benefits all skin types. For example, with dry and sensitive skin, it prevents dehydration, maintains hydro balance, and retains moisture in the deeper layers of the epidermis. At the same time, this plant regulates sebum production and prevents the development of inflammation on oily skin, as well as promotes the cleansing of pores from impurities.

For combination skin, aloe vera is beneficial as it helps combat inflammatory elements, heals them, and boosts cellular immunity.
